Salary: £20-27k base
The Company & the Role: Our client has international presence being a leading software development and consulting company. They are looking to expand their existing team based in Birmingham.

The role
Working within the UK sales force, the technical pre-sales manager would be responsible for supporting sales account managers on client meetings, proposals as well as working directly with clients as the liaison with the development team acting as a project manager.  There is potential opportunity to travel and global experience/exposure through coordination with the region team.
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
The Person:
This position is suitable for those who do not want to take their career to core software development and at the same time they have good knowledge of software/technical aspects, how these work as well as methodologies. The main responsibilities of the job include: 
  • Making and updating proposals- This requires good knowledge of technical subjects so that the person can provide good ideas / inputs in creating the scope of project proposal
  • Responding to client's request, whether it revolves around estimation, project activities or work force details or discussions based on technical details and amendments
  • Provide sales and marketing support as per need
  • Interacting with Indian development team in all divisions including; finance, admin, technology, etc for the accurate details in proposal production and assistance on projects
  • Technical solutions require that the candidate should be able to understand clients' requirements exactly and recommend/provide solutions in line with those requirements
  • Saleable and Managerial aspects: This part requires telling client about company achievements on the technical front, besides demonstrating to client about past project success. This includes presentation and demonstrations of recommended solutions and capabilities to assist closure of business

To summarise: a good blend of sales, soft skills and understanding of technology is required.

Full driving license and transportation will also be required for this role to facilitate meeting prospects across the UK. Company phone + 20 days holiday.
