Sales Account Manager    Ref: TUR447

Location: Nationwide travel (based in Birmingham)
Salary: £20-24k base £40k OTE + mileage allowance
The Company & the Role: Our client has international presence being a leading software development and consulting company. They are looking to expand their existing team based in Birmingham.

The role
Working within the UK sales force, the sales account manager would be responsible for new business generation and account management within a specific vertical sector(s) targeting medium to enterprise level organisations.
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
The Person:
The candidate would be degree educated with a proven successful track record of generating business ideally in the following industries:
  1. 1. Leisure, Travel and Tourism
  2. 2. Retail–preferably through software sales ideally eCommerce or mobile based solutions

The candidate should be a self starter with ability to work on own initiative to identify, generate and qualify leads in the assigned industry, developing a prospect through to closure.

The main responsibilities of the job include: 
  • Prospecting and identification of sales opportunities/self generated leads through research of social channels (e.g. Linkedin), cold calling and marketing activities
  • Generate revenue in line with the compensation plan and targets set 
  • Understand and analyse customer needs then suggesting (or tailoring) a defined package
  • Prepare and deliver pricing proposals
  • Communication of updates to existing customers and prospects
  • Communicating technical solutions to clients of differing technical knowledge
  • Accurate forecast management, providing and maintaining a qualified and up to date funnel, reporting to management on a weekly basis
  • Providing substantial input into future central marketing and campaigns to assist themselves selling within the designated sector

Full clean driving license and transportation will also be required for this role to facilitate meeting prospects across the UK. Company phone included and 20 days holiday.
