The Company & the Role:

Our client manages debt and insolvency from its Worcester offices.

The role
Working in close coperation with Managers, the person will:

  • Perform work in accordance with company CRS and statutory procedures
  • Ensure all areas of the work are completed with any exceptions to this being agreed with the manager
  • Maintain IP Form of record for each estate
  • Understand and appreciate key commercial aspects of the insolvent company's business
  • Provide regular progress reports to the manager including preparation of six monthly case reviews
  • Identify and discuss with manager issues/problems and agree and complete appropriate actions
  • Ensure deadlines met
  • Be able to work on several different assignments at one time
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
The Person:
This position is suitable for those looking to get established in a Insolvency Management role and someone who is willing to learn. The person will be expected to attend various courses and complete technical reading. The person will ideally have the following skills:
  1. 1. C.P.I.
  2. 2. Experience of liquidations, bankruptcies and S&W, receivership/administration knowledge, knowledge and appreciation of Enterprise Act 2002
  3. 3. Knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements
  4. 4. Quick to learn/adapt to new procedures/situations
  5. 5. Ability to organise to be able to work on several different assignments at one time

In particular, the succesful candidate would be expected to:
  • Be able to take a situation and reach a suitable conclusion based on information available
  • Be able to work in a methodical and organised way and able to ensure deadlines are met
  • Have excellent IT skills and be able to develop full working knowledge of IPS, word and excel
  • Have excellent Written Communication skills and be able to draft day to day correspondence for manager signature
  • Have or be able to develop Technical expertise

Progression Path:
Within 12 months - To establish yourself as an effective administrator.
Within 2-3 years - Demonstrating full understanding and competency in the role, to achieve promotion to senior.
