has just arisen, due to company growth, for an experienced
Business Development Manager to expand sales, manage
existing and key accounts and develop new business in a
range of hygiene & cleaning chemicals, predominantly
targeting food manufacturing, education, public sector,
local government and some automotive etc. Products include chemicals, wipes, degreasers, floor care products, dishwashing products etc. Established over 35 years ago, this very successful company is led by a focused and successful management team, and has grown over recent years to become one of the most respected names in the industry. They are part of a large blue chip group of companies. They are now seeking a professional, self motivated and successful Business Development Manager with a minimum of 2 years business to business sales experience, ideally in the hygiene, chemicals, catering or related industries, as well as a proven track record of account management and new business development. |
| The Role: The role will be a mix of new business development and existing account management. There are also key accounts to look after on the territory. The company is well known for looking after their staff, and provides continued assistance and support. |

| Key Experience Required: A proven track record of developing new business and account development is essential. The Business Development Manager would ideally have experience in the hygiene, chemical or catering industries or have sold to local authorities, hospitals or contract cleaners / caterers. The ideal candidate will be a real team player as you will be expected to work closely with other members of the team. Full training is given, although a minimum of 2 years sales experience is a must. The Business Development Manager must have a stable background, be ambitious and be looking for a long-term career move, as well as being dynamic and hungry to succeed. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. |
